Renee Liquid Lipstick mini Combo of 9 Review- Lipstick at Rs. 75

 I recently tried RENEE stay forever matte liquid lipsticks combo. I have reviewed each shade with their uses and in the last I mentioned my favourite lipstick shades. So let's review it.

It retails for Rs. 750 in India which is everytime on 10% discount and I got it for Rs. 675. It consists of 9 lipsticks so each lipstick retails for Rs. 75 only.  

Lipstick contains of 1 ml of quantity which is quite less for a mini lipstick. I found the packaging classy and very easy to store. It has a runny consistency and takes some time to dry but the color payoff is bang on.

Lipstick Combo consists of very diverse shades including pink, red, brown and nude lipsticks. It will compliment almost every skintone , I have a wheatish skintone and every shade looks good on me. Few light shades can wash you off if you are on the darker side. 

                             


Pros and Cons: 

If I talk about Pros of Renee lipsticks combo - It lasts all day long on your lips and survives all the food and drinks.
You get to try different shades on your skintone in an affordable price and then you can buy your favourite renee lipstick in bigger size. Price is also affordable for 9 liquid lipsticks and that too from a good brand. 

If I talk about cons the biggest problem for me is that although renee liquid lipsticks are matte it is not transfer-proof and it transfers on anything I eat or drink but still it stays intact all day. So I will suggest blotting lipstick on a tissue paper after applying or applying powder on your lipstick to make it transfer-proof.

Quantity is little less for a mini size, 2ml would have been better. But I am using these for quite some time and I didn't finished any of them yet.

  Serene - It is a light mauve pink lipstick, complimenting lighter skintones more.
  
  Bliss - This is great pink lipstick which will suit everyone. It is not very dark not very light, just perfect.

  Magic - It is a mix of pink and purple lipstick and is a very bold lipstick. It looks great with bright Indian wear dresses so great for weddings.

  Rare - It is a very bright red lipstick with pink undertones.
  
  Muse - I love this red lipstick, it is a darker red lipstick than rare. 
  
  
  
• Brown Lipsticks -  
  
                            
  
  Mirage - This is a light brown lipstick with orange hints which I alsolutely love. It looks great with Indian wear.
  
  Oasis- This is a darker brown bold lipstick, a great night shade and will suit everyone.
  
  

My favourite shades are Mirage, Eclipse and Bliss. You can go ahead and buy just a single lipstick if you want which retails for Rs. 149 at discount and has double quantity.

To Summarise, I think it is a great deal and perfect if you are college or office going and you like to try different shades. You can also gift it to your loved ones.

Easy Soft Black Smokey Eye look || Why your Eye look mess up and solutions

Hey guys so this is my first makeup look post and I thought what's better than a classic smokey eyes. 

So I have created this soft black smokey eyes and you can do it too with these very easy steps.

STEP-1 

Firstly apply concealer on your eyelids and set it with a powder, avoid any creases.

STEP-2

Apply any kajal in one third eyelid, you don't have to be precise. 

STEP-3 

Take a black eyeshadow and pat on the kohl area and blend on the same area, do not go above that.

STEP-4

Take dark brown eyeshadow in dense blending brush and blend the edges of kajal. Deposit the dark brown colour just above the edges of black and blend well.

STEP- 5

Take a lighter brown shade and deposit in the crease area and blend with the darjer brown shade. 

STEP-6

Take a clean big blending brush and run in the edges and all over the lid lightly to get a seamless blend.

STEP- 7

Apply kajal in lower lashline and smudge with brown shade using a pencil brush.

STEP- 8

Lastly add some pop of shimmer or a coloured eyeshadow on the inner corner and below browbone.

STEP- 9

Complete the look with some mascara.

And you are done it is very easy. To make it more intense you can put kajal on half eye lid or slightly above and blend it with brown eyeshadows.

Reasons why your smokey eyes does not look good and solutions-

• Your black eyeshadow is not pigmented enough - use kajal underneath to avoid this.

• Using big blending brush for every color - use small brush for more concentrated blending.

• Taking dark colors above the crease line - use lighter shades for crease line to give a gradient and blended look.

• Overblending - do not mix all the colors by overblending as it can look messy. Blend 2 colors together at a time.

It looks more brown and rusty than it is looking in pic

This is a very pretty subtle pink, easy to carry. It might look nude on deep skintones. Formula is something I am not a fan of just apply very thin layer but colors are good in this range.

So I want to give you guys every option so included a lip crayon. This is a pink with purple undertones. Not much long lasting but comfortable on lips.

This is my go to color, orange with peach undertones. It will look more nude on deeper skintones and more orange on fair. Formula is good too. It matches with almost every eye look and outfit just go for it without thinking twice.

This is true orange shade with no other undertones. It might wash out very deep skintone girls. Formula is very creamy and bleeds so dap it with some loose powder to make it matte and long lasting.

So you must have realised that this is my favourite range. It is kind of blend of red and orange so good for people who do not like to use straight up orange shades.

This is the cheapest lipstick in all. It is a good lipstick with okay pigmentation but very creamy so use loose powder. It is a pretty light brown shade but has a lot of fragrance in it.

11) NY BAE LIQUID LIPSTICK- Tame the charging bull

This is the darkest lipstick straight up brown with purple undertones, will give you a gothic look. Pigmentation is very good but formula is very drying so apply a good layer of lip balm or go with the new formula which is Ny Bae moisturizing liquid lipsticks.

Biotique Hair care and Body care products honest review || Affordable skincare ||

Welcome to my blog Beauty with Soumya. Since biotique products are very affordable I have tried many of them. There are some gems in them but some of them just did not worked for me.

You can easily get them with 20-30% discount online.

So, here's a quick review on 4 biotique body and hair products.

1) Biotique Bio Kelp Protein shampoo for Falling Hair- 

Price- Rs. 99 for 120ml

As it claims biotique protein shampoo for falling hair, reduces some amount of hairfall but makes my hairs really dry and crunchy. It makes the hairs dry even while washing which tend to breakage of hairs.

I will not suggest it to people with dry scalp and dry hairs.

2) Biotique Bio Walnut Bark Voluminizing shampoo for Fine and Thinning hair- 

Price- Rs. 99 for 120ml

                                 Note- I threw my bottle

Biotique walnut bark Voluminizing shampoo makes my hairs less dry than the bio kelp protein shampoo and leaves my hairs soft. But I did not saw any noticeable volume on my hairs or my mom's. 

You can give biotique shampoo a shot it might work for you. I will suggest to buy small bottle first.

3) Biotique Bio Papaya Visibly Ageless Face wash-

Price- Rs. 110 for 100ml

Biotique bio papaya face wash has scrubbing particles which are extremely small and gentle on the skin. It cleanses the skin very well and does not leaves my face very dry. I can't comment on the ageless factor as it claims. 

Biotique bio papaya face wash will suit all skin types. Also it is not a substitute for scrub.

Since it has scrubbing particles I will suggest to use it only once a day.

4) Biotique Bio Honey Cream Rejuvenating Body Wash- 

Price- Rs. 180 for 190 ml

Biotique honey cream body wash cleanses the body well and leaves the skin hydrated and soft. But it does not have any prominent fragrance so If you like your body washes to smell like heaven then this is not for you. But If fragrances give you a headache then it is worth trying.

Lakme Forever matte liquid lipstick Nude Twist review swatch on medium skintone|peachy nude lipstick

Welcome to my blog, since I am a hoarder of lipsticks and makeup is incomplete without lipstick, I am back with another lipstick review. This is the famous Indian brand LAKME. Lakme has makeup products of all kinds of range.

lakme launched a new matte liquid lipstick some months ago which I finally got my hands on in sale (sale hoarder). That is Lakme Forever matte liquid lipstick, I got the shade 'nude twist'.

PRICE-

Lipstick retails for INR 295, sale price can go as down as Rs 220

PACKAGING- 

Lipstick comes in a slim color coded tube which is cute but honestly feels really cheap. Applicator is normal but stiff.

COLOR RANGE-

Lipstick shades in this range are too wide from reds to purples and bold colors, comes in 30 different lipstick shades. It originally got 20 shades but recently Lakme launched 10 more lipstick shades. There are many nude color lipstick, you can find atleast one for yourself.

Nude Twist is a peachy brown nude color with orange undertones, very beautiful everyday nude color for all skintones, great with heavy eye makeup or without makeup.

TEXTURE-

Lakme forever matte liquid lipstick has a mousse kind of texture, very comfortable on lips. It dries to comfortable matte and transfer-proof lipstick.

PROS- 

• comfortable on lips, hydrating
• affordable 
• wide range of colors, for every skintone
• lots of nude colors
• pocket-friendly
• easily available

CONS- 

• not completely transfer proof and smudge proof
• cannot stand heavy meals
• hard applicator
• cheap packaging

MY RECOMMENDATION- 

I found it a great product for everyday use, moisturizing yet matte. Colors are very fascinating, I am going to explore more colors in the future. 

I will give it 4.5 out of 5.

5 Pink lipsticks for Summer for all skintones || Pink lipstick swatches on medium skintone

Welcome to my blog 'beauty with soumya'. So as the summer has already approached I thought of sharing the pink lipsticks I have in my collection. Pink lipstick gives great summery vibes and does not look too over the top.
I am going to show you lip crayon, liquid lipsticks and bullet lipsticks for all skintones.

1) Purple HD matte liquid lipstick : 20 - my first gossip

This is the most beautiful pink I have in my collection. It is kind of baby pink with high pigmentation.This is a matte lipstick but the formula is something I am not a fan of.

I have mini lipstick which retails for Rs 199 and big size retails for 499.

2) Ny Bae lip crayon- shade 27- Danger strike zone

This is one of the most affordable lip crayons. It has strong purple undertones which dusky skin beauties can rock. It is not completely matte and lasts for decent amount of time. It is not retractable which wastes a lot of product.

It retails for Rs 149 but on sale you can grab it for around Rs 110

3) Blue Heaven Elegance matte lip color- 08

This is great lipstick for Rs 105, matte and comfortable and lasts 5-6 hours. This is a bright fuchsia color which instantly brightens the face. This range has some more bright pinks to explore but all look almost similar.

4) Ny Bae super matte lipstick- shade- 12 Passionate Pamela

This is a nudish pink with peach undertones, great for everyday or minimal makeup. It is matte but not transfer proof so wears off after eating oily food. 

It looks nude on fair skintones and more pink on medium and dusky skintones.

5) Romantic Beauty- shade 05

This is pure bright pink color, creamy matte in texture, has a sweet scent and lasts decent 4-5 hours. I bought this from local store for Rs 180 but you can definitely get it for much cheaper price. 

These kinds of pinks can wash off dusky skin beauties.

Blue Heaven Elegance matte lipstick review and swatches 01, 07, 08, 11

Welcome to my blog 'beauty with soumya'. Today I am going to review one of the famous Indian brand for affordable makeup range that is Blue Heaven. They have some amazing makeup products specially their lipsticks are really famous, Elegance matte lip color range is one of them.

I have been using them from a long time and I love this range that is why I brought more of its shades. Today I am going to review its 4 shades- 01, 07, 08, 11

PACKAGING- 

It has a sleek long packaging with a normal applicator. It comes in 12 shades.

COLOR RANGE- 

This range has many reds and pinks, also some dark shades and a nude colour.

01- This is a red color with orange undertones. It will suit every skintone out there. If you want just red go for 03.

11- This is a very famous pinkish nude color with mauve undertones. Pigmentation of this color is low and requires layering. It is very watery in consistency. It will suit fair complexions but This is a great color to tone down any lipstick, apply above any lipstick you want to make nude or to lock any creamy lipstick.

PIGMENTATION- 

Colors are highly pigmented, except shade 11 and 12.

TEXTURE- 

Blue Heaven Elegance matte lip color is a liquid lipstick which dries in seconds and gives completely matte finish. It can be little drying for dry lips' people so lip balm is a must. Layering the lipstick after drying makes it patchy so have to work fast.

It does not contain any strong fragrance.

STAYING POWER-

 It is a smudge-proof lipstick, but not completely water-proof. After drinking water it starts to transfer. It can stand light meals but not oily food. Staying power is 6-7 hours.

I will suggest to have at least one shade from blue heaven elegance matte lip color range in your makeup vanity as it is a good quality lipstick in this price range.

Types of outfits to hide bellyfat / tummy || Latest Fashion trend outfits to look slimmer

Welcome to my first fashion blog of 'beauty with soumya'. If you are a fashionista like me then this is the blog for you. Today I am going to share some outfit ideas which you can use if you have a belly fat or you tend to gain tummy frequently. These are some tips which you should keep in mind while shopping. I am not a fashion designer but these are the things I use which work amazingly well for me.

Generally stomach is the first area where fat of our body shows so most of us easily gain belly fat. It takes a lot of time and hard work to loose weight but if you are conscious about your tummy you can use these styling tips to look slimmer and stylish instantly.

In this fashion blog I am going to show outfit ideas in every category of clothes which you should keep in mind while buying clothes, also sharing some of the latest fashion trends. I also attached some of my pictures to give you an idea.

1) JEANS AND JEGGINGS-   

A high waist jeans is a raging fashion trend which is great for people with belly fat because it covers the tummy making us look slimmer. It gives our body a good structure looks extremely stylish with crop tops without showing much skin. A high waist mom jeans is must in your closet.

A stretchable jeggings is also trendy, it is high waist and does not hugs the body too tightly giving a casual yet fashionable look.

2) SKIRTS- 

Replace straight fit skirts with flared high waist skirts of any length of your choice, preferably ankle length skirt as it is in fashion trend. High waist flared skirt styled with a fitted top tucked in with boots gives an extremely stylish look. You can also wear long skirts which give ethnic yet stylish look and style it with some silver jewelry but these are not much in fashion .

3) TOPS- 

Peplum tops and empire tops are trendy which defines the waist just at the right place and gives a flared look around stomach. Also balloon style tops looks stylish without giving a bulky look. These can be worn with any type of jeans not necessarily high waist. Also A-line tops which fits from the bust area and open around stomach area looks classy and hides belly fat.

Any top which has broad elastic around stomach area can also be worn.

Off shoulder and cold shoulder tops are a great way to seek attention on the shoulders and not on our stomach and always in fashion trends.

4) CROP TOPS- 

Choose crop tops which ends just above the jeans and not too short. It will ensure that you do not show your tummy. Wear crop tops which are not too short or body hugging.

If you tie knot in your normal t-shirt to make it crop, do the same without showing much skin. Simple tips can make your basic dress look extremely stylish.

5) DRESSES- 

Choose the dress which fits you below your bust area and then flows. For this wrap dresses are great option and looks extremely fashionable and cute. Also A-line dresses and t-shirt dress looks great.

Wear dresses which has belt around waist or you can add a broad waist belt to any dress.

Avoid bodycon or body hugging dresses.

6) OVERALLS- JUMPSUITS AND DANGREES-

On the same note, use overalls which are high waisted so hides your tummy well or has a belt or elastic around waste area, as shown in the pictures below. 

Avoid wearing crop tops with a dangree as side fat can be visible.

7) PANTS AND TROUSERS- 

Avoid pants which are too baggy around stomach as it can make you look bulky, instead wear trousers or pants which fits around waist and also high waisted to cover belly. 

8) KURTAS- 

Ankle length straight kurtas gives a taller look and seeks attention to top to bottom instead of side to side. A-line kurtas and anarkalis are also a great option. Avoid fitted kurtas.

9) JACKETS AND BLAZERS- 

Wear denim jacket which is always trendy or ethnic jacket is also in fashion trend, to draw attention to it and not on the stomach. Blazers also give a classy look and look extremely fashionable styled with crop tops, drawing attention towards it.

10) LONG VESTS AND SHRUGS- 

Long Vests are extremely in fashion trends which make us look taller and also hide side fat in our stomach. Many celebrities wear them but these are hard to find in the market.

You can style shrugs with crop tops and kurtas which is in fashion trends too. 

You can DIY vests from your old straight kurta.

11) PALAZZOS- 

Wide leg flary palazzos (high waist) styled with fitted tops or A-line kurtas looks extremely stylish. Palazzos are comfortable to wear and also in fashion trends, can be styled in many different ways.

12) T-SHIRTS AND SHIRTS- 

Wear long and loose t-shirts which falls below your stomach rather than fitted short t-shirts.

Crop loose shirts are great option rather than fit shirts and also in fashion trends.

Complement your outfits with appropriate accessories, makeup and footwear. These are just the ways to look more put together and enhance your style. To hide your belly fat or not is everyone's personal choice.
