Renee Liquid Lipstick mini Combo of 9 Review- Lipstick at Rs. 75

 I recently tried RENEE stay forever matte liquid lipsticks combo. I have reviewed each shade with their uses and in the last I mentioned my favourite lipstick shades. So let's review it.

It retails for Rs. 750 in India which is everytime on 10% discount and I got it for Rs. 675. It consists of 9 lipsticks so each lipstick retails for Rs. 75 only.  

Lipstick contains of 1 ml of quantity which is quite less for a mini lipstick. I found the packaging classy and very easy to store. It has a runny consistency and takes some time to dry but the color payoff is bang on.

Lipstick Combo consists of very diverse shades including pink, red, brown and nude lipsticks. It will compliment almost every skintone , I have a wheatish skintone and every shade looks good on me. Few light shades can wash you off if you are on the darker side. 

                             


Pros and Cons: 

If I talk about Pros of Renee lipsticks combo - It lasts all day long on your lips and survives all the food and drinks.
You get to try different shades on your skintone in an affordable price and then you can buy your favourite renee lipstick in bigger size. Price is also affordable for 9 liquid lipsticks and that too from a good brand. 

If I talk about cons the biggest problem for me is that although renee liquid lipsticks are matte it is not transfer-proof and it transfers on anything I eat or drink but still it stays intact all day. So I will suggest blotting lipstick on a tissue paper after applying or applying powder on your lipstick to make it transfer-proof.

Quantity is little less for a mini size, 2ml would have been better. But I am using these for quite some time and I didn't finished any of them yet.

  Eclipse - It is peachy pink nude lipstick and is a unique shade, great for everyday use. It will suit all skintones and is my go-to shade.
  
  Enigma - It is a light pinkish nude shade. It can wash dark skinned people.

  Serene - It is a light mauve pink lipstick, complimenting lighter skintones more.
  
  Bliss - This is great pink lipstick which will suit everyone. It is not very dark not very light, just perfect.
  
  Aurora - It is a bright pink lipstick, not for everyone.
  
  Magic - It is a mix of pink and purple lipstick and is a very bold lipstick. It looks great with bright Indian wear dresses so great for weddings.

  Rare - It is a very bright red lipstick with pink undertones.
  
  Muse - I love this red lipstick, it is a darker red lipstick than rare.

  Mirage - This is a light brown lipstick with orange hints which I alsolutely love. It looks great with Indian wear.
  
  Oasis- This is a darker brown bold lipstick, a great night shade and will suit everyone.
  
  

My favourite shades are Mirage, Eclipse and Bliss. You can go ahead and buy just a single lipstick if you want which retails for Rs. 149 at discount and has double quantity.

To Summarise, I think it is a great deal and perfect if you are college or office going and you like to try different shades. You can also gift it to your loved ones.

Blue Heaven Elegance matte lipstick review and swatches 01, 07, 08, 11

Welcome to my blog 'beauty with soumya'. Today I am going to review one of the famous Indian brand for affordable makeup range that is Blue Heaven. They have some amazing makeup products specially their lipsticks are really famous, Elegance matte lip color range is one of them.

I have been using them from a long time and I love this range that is why I brought more of its shades. Today I am going to review its 4 shades- 01, 07, 08, 11

PRICE-

 INR 105 for 6ml , sale price is Rs 85-90.Easily available online and in local stores.

PACKAGING- 

It has a sleek long packaging with a normal applicator. It comes in 12 shades.

COLOR RANGE- 

This range has many reds and pinks, also some dark shades and a nude colour.

01- This is a red color with orange undertones. It will suit every skintone out there. If you want just red go for 03.

07- This is a wine grape shade with pink undertones, have watery consistency. This will suit every skintone

08- This is bright fushia color, this color can be pulled off by everyone but it can become dull on dusky skintones. This is thicker in consistency.

11- This is a very famous pinkish nude color with mauve undertones. Pigmentation of this color is low and requires layering. It is very watery in consistency. It will suit fair complexions but This is a great color to tone down any lipstick, apply above any lipstick you want to make nude or to lock any creamy lipstick.

PIGMENTATION- 

Colors are highly pigmented, except shade 11 and 12.

TEXTURE- 

Blue Heaven Elegance matte lip color is a liquid lipstick which dries in seconds and gives completely matte finish. It can be little drying for dry lips' people so lip balm is a must. Layering the lipstick after drying makes it patchy so have to work fast.

It does not contain any strong fragrance.

STAYING POWER-

 It is a smudge-proof lipstick, but not completely water-proof. After drinking water it starts to transfer. It can stand light meals but not oily food. Staying power is 6-7 hours.

I will suggest to have at least one shade from blue heaven elegance matte lip color range in your makeup vanity as it is a good quality lipstick in this price range.

Welcome to my blog 'Beauty with Soumya', today's review is about very famous lipstick in the market Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink Liquid lipstick in the shade 50 voyager. These are loved by some people but not really by some other. So, let's see what's the deal about this lipstick

PRICE- INR 650 for 5 ml, sale price-INR 450-500

PACKAGING- Maybelline superstay matte ink lipstick comes in an edgy bottle with a white cap and color coded matte bottle. shade name is written in the bottom of it and information and date is written on sides which I really admire. packaging is quite bulky and classy.
The applicator is really interesting, pointed with a hole in it so it picks the product well and lipstick can be drawn precisely.

COLOR RANGE- Maybelline superstay matte ink comes in 35 shades with a wide range of colors from lighter nude colors to bold purple and grey. You can definitely find one for yourself.
Voyager is a deep maroon shade suitable to all skintones but can give a vampy look to fair skintones. Some shades of this range are patchy but never tried them so can't commit on it.

PIGMENTATION- maybelline superstay matte ink voyager is very high in pigmentation, one coat is enough

TEXTURE- lipstick has a thick texture which feels heavy on the lips after some time but moisturizing at the same time, I will suggest to scrub lips, apply lip balm but wipe before applying lipstick.
It takes quite a time to get dry completely but once it does it does not budge, completely matte, smudge-proof, transfer-proof and water-proof. But do not stick your lips while it is drying otherwise it becomes patchy, apply an even coat and leave it to dry.

Lipstick feels sticky on the lips like a glue and the stickiness does not go away even after drying and lasts throughout the day. I don't feel it to be uncomfortable but if u do then I will not suggest this


STAYING POWER- as the name suggests it is a superstay. Product claims that the lipstick stays for 16 hours I could never it for that long but it lasts throughout the day upto 8-10 hours. it can survive light oily meals but fades from the inner lips with foods like burger. I will suggest then to apply it only on the inner area and not on whole to avoid cakiness.

1. sticky on the lips
2. pain to remove, can only be removed by oil based remover or coconut oil
3. can become patchy sometimes
4. after some time feel heavy on the lips
5. takes time to dry

I will suggest to buy a shade and see if it is comfortable then you can invest accordingly.
